I Tried Meta’s 100 Gram VR Glasses

Hands-on with the Meta VR Glasses (codenamed Phoenix), Meta’s 100 gram VR headset with a separate compute puck, tried at Meta Connect 2026.

It uses micro-OLED displays, a 70° x 66° field of view, the Snapdragon Reality Elite chip and 12GB of RAM, and it pairs with Quest Touch controllers to play your Quest library.

Would you rather have VR glasses you’d actually wear for hours, even if the view is narrower?

Demo took place at Meta Connect 2026. This Short is not sponsored, and Meta had no review direction or approval over our content. Specs are based on the demo and may change before launch.
