The XREAL AURA is finally here, and after 4+ hours wearing it, I think it might be the most interesting head-worn device we’ve had in years. Here’s my honest first impressions!

In this video, we go hands-on with the XREAL AURA: the first device running on Android XR (built with Google) and Qualcomm’s brand new Snapdragon Reality Elite chip. We cover how it works, the displays and optics, the puck, on-device AI, what you can actually do with it, comfort, the honest cons, and whether you should buy one. Smart glasses, spatial computing, and where this is all heading. Let me know in the comments: what do YOU need in glasses like these?
A big thanks to XREAL for partnering with us on this video. We said yes as we were going to cover it anyway, and it does not change how we review things.
