A 3rd-person mythical action-adventure PSVR game, which reminds us a lot of God Of War as they are both based on Greek mythology. Become a Greek hero and immerse yourself in the myth of Theseus and the Minotaur. Be careful not to be eaten!

In Theseus – you are a Greek god stranded in a magical and dark place in virtual reality. You have to discover the truth behind its mysteries by exploring the Labyrinth and Limbo multiple times in different ways. Be aware though of scary creatures, huge spiders and of course the giant Minotaur – who is very angry to feel you there.
This VR game is immersive and has a cinematic feeling to the third-person gameplay, which is a really nice change. The storyline is intriguing, graphics are beautiful and the audio design definitely adds to the immersion.

What we think of it:
- The game is different, because instead of the usual first person VR view, you are actually floating behind your character. It’s a 3rd person game that switches from camera angles accordingly to the scene, which is a very interesting change up. It gives the game a very cinematic feel, like you are watching an immersive movie. VR adds to it too, because you are able to look around and it makes everything more dark and scary.
- The graphics are beautiful and it reminds us a bit of God Of War, however the controls and fighting is very different. You don’t get as much character movement freedom: for example you are only allowed to swing your sword when told so. However, this does add to the game, because you don’t know in advance when you are allowed to, so you will need some quick reflexes to complete certain levels.
- The audio design is great, builds up tension very well and just really adds to the game.
- The only thing I can say that we are missing a little bit is more character movement freedom. What I mean by that is for example, when I’m holding a sword, I’d like to swing it whenever I want, not only when I’m allowed to.
